Easy Recipe: Delicious Chicken Bulgogi
Chicken Bulgogi. I explained the terminology - bulgogi before in my bulgogi recipe before but I will briefly explain it again. Peel skin from chicken thighs and trim off excess fat.
To make chicken bulgogi udon, we need to prepare the chicken breast. Bulgogi is made from thin slices of sirloin or other prime cuts of beef. If you hear the word, Bulgogi, you immediately think of the famous Korean beef.
Slice the chicken into strips and serve them on a platter with fresh herbs (I usually use mint, but you can add or substitute other herbs like basil or cilantro) and sliced red chiles.
Bulgogi is most often made with thinly sliced beef, but it's just as fantastic with chicken.
Dak bulgogi is made with chicken which I sometimes prefer to the beef version. However, in general terms, unless specified, bulgogi is made with beef. Marinate chicken with spicy bulgogi sauce, Korean BBQ sauce, chilli paste and red chilli powder.
