Alcoholic Limeade. It is a refreshing summertime drink. It's got that perfect fresh and summery flavor, and will be great for any party.
In some parts of Latin America, limes are grouped into the category of tart citrus fruits known as limones (lee-mone-ayes), since lemons are not widely available. The sweetness that the Grenadine brings is just enough to offset the tart limeade! This party punch is going to be the hit of all of my parties this spring and summer.
An excellent alcoholic version of the limonada frozen is the frozen pisco sour, which is made with Peruvian pisco brandy.
She prefers hers without the extra cherry juice, but I like the extra cherry flavor that it adds.
