Easy Recipe: Tasty Chicken Noodle Soup
Chicken Noodle Soup. Serve hot with your favorite salad and bread. Egg noodles, carrots, celery, and chicken are simmered in broth seasoned with basil and oregano.
If a rose by any other name would smell as sweet, surely chicken noodle soup is warm and wonderful in any language. Reheat on the stove and add the noodles and parsley just before serving. Chicken (of course), along with carrots, celery, onions, noodles, and fresh herbs are slow-cooked to savory goodness.
Add the onion, garlic, carrots, celery, thyme and bay leaf.
When reheating, add a splash of extra chicken stock or if you don't have any, water.
If you have a couple hours, making chicken noodle soup entirely from scratch is the way to go. In a large pot, heat oil over medium-high. All you need is a whole chicken (cut into parts), water, celery, onions, and carrots, seasonings, and egg noodles.
